Seaman JV Results can be found at:
www.trackwrestling.com
(Search for Seaman JV, then enter as a Viewer to see Results)

Please list any thoughts about the tournament, both good and bad, so that we can make it better next year. Most wrestlers got 3 matches, while many had the allotted 5 in a day. We are looking to add 4-5 more teams for next year. Thanks!

Hey, one of my 189 pounders from Junction City didnt lose a match this weekend at the Seaman tournament and didnt get a medal at all. His name is Jalen Padilla. Please look into it if you can. He wrestled well and deserves to be reconized for it.

A couple of my wreslters had the same thing happen but they did not medal because they were in the B bracket. They told us coaches that there were only medals for the A bracket and so the couple of weight classes that had B brackets would not medal. I had no problem with it as we were told in advance. I thought the tournament went well and the athletes were able to get quite a bit of mat time.

Stand Up King-
I do agree that he should be recognized for an outstanding performance. Unfortunately, he was in the "b" bracket and we were unable to provide medals to those individuals. I believe that there were 20 participants in the 189 lb. class, which necessitated 2 brackets. Due to his record, he fell into the "b" bracket. I do hope that he gained valuable experiance and mat time at the tournament, and much more success in the future. Thanks!
