So I am living in Shawnee now and have been out of high school for some years now and I really miss wrestling from a competition stand point as well as just the fun of wrestling and what it does physically. I was curious if anyone knew of any clubs or gyms that have old-timers wrestling if you will.

How old is old timer? There are a few guys in there late 20's and 30's rolling around at West KC and helping the freestyle club. Must have USA Wrestling coaches card and/or competitiors card. Coaches card a required background check ($17) must be done before coaches cards can be purchased.

I am 23 and I am just kind of looking for something I can do a few times a week for a work out. And I was just curious if anyone knew of a place.

I still think you'll need some sort of USA or AAU Card for insurance purposes - no matter where you go. Most clubs/wrestling organizations most likely will require some competitor/practice card.
