To whom this may concern.......After reviewing all the comments made toward TOHK since the state tournament. I would like to give a public apology to everyone who was offended by my actions at state. I have been a coach for TOHK for the past 24 years. As a parent and coach of TOHK, my actions were very unprofessional. Over the the last 24 years I have seen many highs and many lows in this great sport. When you are at the bottom no one seems to see what happens. However, when your near the top, everyone sees you.
I take pride in the product we put on the mat year in and year out. I feel that I must go to bat for our kids (No matter what). In doing so, I went over board. As, a parent and a coach I never would do anything to harm or belittle a child. I was hurt by the Booing and reacted in an inappropriate way. Nothing I do, can take back my actions, but I tried to rectify the situation.
I will strive to show more self control in the future. You can ask any of the kids I coach, that is what I teach. I am not perfect and don't claim to be. However, I do make a mistakes, and if I do. Pray for me.
Thanks, Coach Kenneth Taylor Sr. (The one with the towel around my neck)
God is good all the time, and all the time God is good.....Be thankful and humble.

I am confident the wrestling community will accept the apology and bring closure to this embarrassing moment for Coach Taylor.
Thank you Coach Taylor.
It is now time to move on!
