Coach Smith,

My name is Todd Dreifort. I the Asst. Pr./AD at Circle High School. The reason I am emailing you is to ask if you know of anyone that might be interested in coaching wrestling this school year. Our head coach resigned this week and we do not have an assistant coach hired either. Therefore, if you have a former Newman wrestler that might be interested or know of someone in the area, please do not hesitate to let me know. You can reach me by phone at 541-2277 or by email at tdreifort@usd375.org.

Thank you for your time.

Todd Dreifort

Dreifort sounds like a German wrestler. Maybe he can juggle that too and coach the team?

Enlighten Me!

Mr. Dreifort was darn good at baseball at WSU (RF for the National Championship team in 1989), I think. His brother was real real good at baseball. Perhaps the top college player his senior year and 1st round pick of the Dodgers. I don't remember either of them wrestling though. I am sure Richard can set you straight but I believe they attended Wichita North.

Todd and younger brother Darren both attended Wichita Heights High School. As a freshman, Todd Dreifort drove in the winning run with a sixth inning double leading the Wichita State Shockers to their 1989 NCAA College World Series Championship.
