In past years, very few Oklahoma tournaments required a USA Wrestling card. The tournament flyer or other tournament information should indicate if a USA card is required.

Generally speaking from Folkstyle tournaments they aren't needed but are necessary for Greco & Freestyle.

Keep in mind USA Wrestling membership has its benefits...esp if your in a practice room gearing up for the tournaments.

Jerry Scott would be the man to get in contact with. They're especially changing it up this year for kids to be placed on rosters so that they're not team hopping for helping other teams win the team awards.

Keep in mind as well that the OK tournaments like to "limit" the coaches on the floor and in the flyer will say they'll give 1 coach's pass to every 5 wrestler's you bring....or some tournaments you can pay more $$$ for extra pass.

The Turner boy's are going to Blue T in Tulsa next weekend. Mason will be div. 4 12u 64 or 67, and Jaymez will be 118 div. 5. Mason will be looking for his 4th straight serie's championship. Jaymez finshed in the top 5 in the last 2years, and looking for the championship after taking 2nd last year. Oklahoma is a great warm up for the Kansas season. As far as USA card's , none is needed in Oklahoma . Although you have pay a 5.00 fee for Oklahoma insurance, that is a one time fee for the year.Oklahoma boy's are tough and that's why we go. Hope to see some Kansas kid's down there , it's about getting that mat time.

Love to go to Blue T -----> are in the midst of football. Best of Luck to Mason & Jaymez....Like the Catoosa & Bixby tournaments really well. And yes, great opportunity for mat time & most are split formats.
