Besides having to submit to a background check, all fathers that deem themselves fit to coach should also have to enter a tournament against other fathers and wrestle a minimum of 2 wrestling matches each year with someone of equal weight class, so they understand at least what it is like to be on the mats competing.

Tell me if you like it or hate it, then come up with your ideas for others on whether to like it or hate it for whatever you come up with.

Medics had better be available matside

A lot of the dads know what it is like to wrestle, although some do not. I would say a more valuable idea for all wrestling onlookers would be to have them referee a few matches. I think that would change a lot of perspectives. It is not as easy as it looks.

I don't know how valuable it would be for wrestling dads to get on the mat together. I can say unequivocally, if that materializes I would pay big $$ and will be matside, video camera in hand!!

I can hear the kids yelling at the dads, "get your head up" "move on bottom...get off your back...." "What do you mean you need Oxygen you wussy..."
