Wrestlers with any skin disorders MUST have medical sheet filled out and recently completed by their doctor or face removal from tournament. ***Coaches with bands & wrestlers (up in 3 matches) ONLY allowed on the wrestling floor/mat side – others will be asked to return to bleachers – Clubs please inform your members. Security will enforced keeping isle and mat-side clear ***Parents and wrestlers not competing will NOT be allowed mat-side.
Coolers must stay in commons area – no coolers in Gyms. No food in Gyms.

Thank you to ALL the volunteers, clubs who came, refs, custodial staff at Olathe East. I am just glad my name is not Paola Joe and Tuff - those guys are some cool customers who know matside scoring. We did like the honor system/home weigh-in - that is THE SINGLE biggest factors in getting a tournament started on time have weigh-ins and brackets done the night before.

One other thing - My Weather Man said no snow until later today.
I woke up and my trailer is covered with snow - time to broom off the trailer. Oh well it is time to go finish the clean up, tear down and return mats - How great is that - We will get to break out the winter boots and shovels a day earlier. I may even make a snow angel in shorts when we are done.

Agree with smokey, Tuff and Joe, can't do without them...those I spoke with who used matside scoring on computer for the first time yesterday LOVED IT! I encourage all clubs utilizing trackwrestling to give it a try for their tournament. In about 5 matches you'll be a pro at the system.

Smokey is likely moving mats today in shorts so he will probably make snow angels as well...you can move the guy out of Wisconsin but you can never take the Wisconsin out of the guy!

Great tournament, great competition, and probably the best hospitality room I've ever been in.

Overall good tourney. Would like to see the 6u kids be in an 8 man bracket instead of 16. My 6 year old lost his first match and had to wrestle 5 on the backside...first match at 9:40 last at 5:30...too much for the lil guys.
