The 119 pound brackets at the Bobcat and the Newton Tournaments were stacked with incredible wrestlers. If you put those two brackets together in a tournament.....WOW! I know that the competition was insane at these two tournaments in many weight classes, but the 119 pound class sticks out in my mind as being the most insane.

What happened to blew was he was put in an incredibly tough weight class with the likings of Taylor Moeder and Eck, just an overall tough tournament much tougher then Blew's state bracket will be for sure.

This has always been a great tournament but this year with Oak Park and Blue Springs in the mix. Wow, very, very tough!

I grew up in that area. I wrestled in the early 80's. Blue Springs and OP were powerhouses even back then. Ghez. Success breeds more success I guess. I remember I sure did not enjoy our duals with them. Because it was a rare day indeed, when this average wrestler could get a W on those nights! ;-)

KUDOS to all the Fresman wrestlers who placed at BOBCAT, especially the ones who made it to the finals....Lewis-Blue Springs, Teaney Oak Park, Himpel Tonganoxie, Lambotte Rossville
What things they will accomplish in the few years to come......
