Don't know his record but he is tough. He has been
wrestling 58, and has held his own with some tough kids.........

Victor should make it to state taking 1 or 2 at district. But, when state comes that bracket is pretty tough. Whoever takes 2nd and 3rd will be on Hensleys side and i bid you good luck because he will be bringing he best to the mat each time. By watching this bracket and my son having wrestled some of these kids it will be a Hensley -vs- Mies with Hensley winning the championship. Good luck to all that qualify for state.

I Would not count Dayton Will out.He has beat Mies once this year and lost to him twice. He also beat Hensley this year.So it will be Dayton and Zak in the semis and who ever is wrestling their best will be in the finals against Mies.Good luck to everyone see you at state.

I believe we wrestled Dayton last year as a 6 and under so I'm sure that he wouldn't be 10 quite yet!

Hensley,

I would like to be the first to congratulate Zac Hensley on making it to the Championship match tomorrow. Now that you've made it that far, it's time to finish the job. Tyler I know that you had a rough and disappointing day but keep your head up and you'll be back next season.

Dustin Seibolt from DeSoto got first, way to go Dustin, Zak got second, Meis got third, Defore got fourth, Will fifth, and Ortiz sixth. I want to personally congratulate all the wrestlers in this bracket they all did a great job! Special congrats to Dustin Seibolt for winning it all!

All these wrestlers are great wrestlers, and most importantly great kids, we are looking forward to many more years seeing all these kids wrestle as they grow.

You win some and you lose some, and the referee is NEVER the one we blame, actually you should blame nobody, you go back regroup and get ready for the next week or year!! Don't ever let it get so close that the referee might be the deciding factor. (Just a side note because I'm a referee, and some weeks parents and coaches love me, and the next week they hate me, but I would not give up being a referee for anything.)

Again great job to all you kids for a great performance at 8-under 55lbs! This bracket was represented well by a lot of great talented wrestlers from all over the state, and you all should be proud of being on the podium at the state tournament. Dustin you did a great job against Zak and should be very proud of your first place finish at state because I'm proud of you even though you beat my son Zak in double overtime.

Good job to all the kids at the state tournament this weekend!

One more thing, way to go Aaron Seybold from Pittsburg on your championship performance at 10-under 73lbs, you are the one Zak and Tyler look up to and you are awesome you little stud!

"You win some and you lose some, and the referee is NEVER the one we blame"

I won't blame the referee for the outcome of the match, like Denny said "Don't ever let it get so close that the referee might be the deciding factor", but I will voice my opion (along with most anyone's who watched this match) on the officiating.

IT WAS HORRIBLE!!!!!

Congratulations to all the 55lbs. wrestlers that made it to state, and especially to Dustin Seibolt for wrestling a smart match and winning the championship. You really stepped it up!!

Zak keep your head up and keep working hard. You will get your state championship soon and many more to follow. Everyone is proud of you, and you are still a champ in my mind!!!!!!!!!
