just wondering what everyones thoughts are on the toughest tournament in the united states. We have been to Cliff Keen and Tulsa Nationals and think they are tough but are they the toughest. For those of you guys that have been around a while is there another tournament out there that may be tougher. We are thinking of going to the Ohio tournament of champions next year with a couple of our kids and would like some information on that tournament if anyone has been to it or if there is a qualifier to get into that tournament. was talking to a guy from ohio and he thought there might be a qualifier to get in that one. so lets here everyones thoughts on this.

this will be our first year of freestyle and greco so it will be a good opener for my 10 year old. doubt my 6 year old will want to but if he does guess he might as well at least go to the practices. not sure how many tournaments we will be able to get in for freestyle and greco due to a heavy baseball schedule. would love to be able to go to the ohio tournament next year though.

The Ohio TOC is a very good and fun tournament. The only thing is it's a Takedown tournament. All wrestling is done on your feet if you don't take the kid strait to his back they stand you back up. It does have a great dual tourney on Sunday.

Kickoff is tough but Tulsa Nationals is the REAL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!! No other tournament in the country get participants from 50 states with 40 represented in the finals (happened this year)!
Liberty Nationals is right below it! I have a friend whose boy wrestles for Pinnacle and he says Gopher State is up there too!
To be the man, you got to beat the MAN!!

We haven't been to the ToC, but last yeat went Folkstyle National in Iowa. Will return to this tourny ever year we are elegible. Dan can vouch for the venue, being one of the best for a huge tournament. It is a couple of weeks after our state tourny.
