Off the top of my head. 126 seems to be the premier bracket. Hood, Shoemaker, Olsen, Dickman, and Haralson, but a few I have probably forgot. That is 4 of the top 5 All-class kids.
I am sure there are some other loaded weights as well.

I would think right off the top of my head Reis Humphrey from Shawnee Mission South, Tommy Williams Aquinas, Isaac Dulgarian Aquinas, Corey Spader Spring Hill, Tagene Lambotte Rossville, Tristan Star Lawrence, Cullen Hood Louisburg, Sam Son Chanute. Keep a close eye on Dulgarian as he is a treat to watch. He flat out dominated last weekend at Leavenworth. These are just off the top of my head and I am sure I am missing several others. Can anyone else weigh in based off pre-season expectations and the first week of the season?

Luke Henes (Aquinas) put together a sensational match at Leavenworth beating Jase Stone (Manhattan - State Runner-Up last year). He beat him pretty soundly too.

I am excited to see a lot of the matches this weekend in Eudora. On my intro to the HS wrestling world this weekend in Leavenworth as a dad, I had a blast watching the action. I am looking forward to watching Bo Pursel again this weekend in Eudora, the only thought that comes to mind is that kid is sic! lol. I thought the neatest thing though was later during a break he was showing a couple different wrestlers a "sic" move he did and was happily working with them on how to do it. Pretty awesome!

Bronson (Paratroop)....
You are spot on! Bo Pursel is a class act all the way around. He is a great role model for the younger kids and is always looking to help kids learn how to wrestle. We are fortunate that he lives in our area and comes to help us with the kids. Great wrestler, great family, great young man!

Shawn Budke Awesome. Good to see stuff like that and just made me feel good for the sport of wrestling! PS: Good luck to your boy this season. I always enjoyed watching him wrestle at Purler and during the season!

I am sure there are some other loaded weights as well. Likely seeds at 126: 1. Haralson - Won Eudora last year. Beat Hood, who beat Shoemaker. 2. Hood - State Champion. Beat Shoemaker last year here. 3. Olsen - 2nd at state. (They won't count Fall Brawl). 4. Shoemaker - 2010 State champion. Third at Eudora last year. 5. Dickman - 4th at Eudora last year. Lost 3-1 to Shoemaker.

Hood has the last head to head win over Haralson at BVNW and a state championship. Its more likely he will get the 1 seed. 1.Hood 2.Haralson 3.Olsen

Amazingly, I heard that the criteria is:
1. Placing at Eudora last year. 2. State placing.

Head to Head should always be the first criteria. Sounds like Eudora needs to make some changes.

Amazingly, I heard that the criteria is:
1. Placing at Eudora last year. 2. State placing. That's not good for teams like us who are at Eudora for the first time.....
