I was just getting ready to write and ask myself the same thing. I went to watch the finals. At the end of the finals they said the results "complete with brackets could be seen in about an hour."
The buddy I went with is the 'pencil pusher' for the two of us. If nobody posts anything about the tourney by tomorrow afternoon, I will ask him to. He is busy with church and napping (AFTER church, not during it) during Sunday mornings and into the early afternoon.
Here is what I can remember off the top of my head:
Perez of JC won with about 5 ticks left on the clock with an awesome TD.
Heights come in second place to the other Wichita team that they were sitting by (NW?). That surprised me as I have been going to this tourney for many years and have seen WH take home the first place trophy.
The kid before Reed had a last name of Meck. I was very, very impressed with his skills. He won his weight.
Reed, the MOST IMPRESSIVE. No disrespect to his opponent (who was a WNW kid. They seemed friendly with one another before and after. Like a couple of good buds that knew the outcome before it even started.
Bean (sp?) DOMINATED.
U. DeShazer took first against another Meck.
The 'little' Deshazer (again, no disrespect intended, I just cant remember the new weight classifications) lost 1-0. Against who? A Kaupan kid I think.
Middleton DOMINATED his JC opponent in the final. No shame there as Middleton is a STUD.
The WNW heavyweight won against JC's heavy.
Melsap (sp?) from JC won a close match against yet another WNW kid. This kid (the WNW one) was THICK and built like a TRUCK!!!
JC or Kaupan took third and fourth.
Sorry I can't come up with more at the moment. I'm tired and heading off to bed.
Hopefully somebody will be able to direct us to the URL that is suppose to have all the brackets and results. I searched the JCHS sports site and could not find it.

Cool synopsis.
That Kaupan kid would be Parker Howell I would guess.

Yeah, that sounds right. If I remember right, he won 1-0. Using his height to find off the many shots that DeShazer attempted.

Looks like Wichita northwest is for real. Big tourney win.
