Jeff Vesta formerly of the Manhattan Optimist Kids Club won the National Junior College National Championship this weekend in the 125 pound weight division. Forty one junior colleges from across the nation participated in the tournament.
Jeff Vesta wrestled this weekend for Neosho Community College which is one of the Kansas colleges that will be one of the ten Kansas colleges and universities that will benefit from the Kansas College Wrestling Fund.
Congratultations to Jeff Vesta on your national championship and to all the coaches especially his first coaches at the Kids level in Kansas who helped Jeff in becoming the national champion wrestler that he is today.
