The list came out yesterday-looks like KS is 5th per capita at one qualifier per 410,177 people. 7 qualifiers call KS home!

McCormick Nathan Missouri Leawood
Andrus Steve Michigan State Manhattan
Koehn Tyler Nebraska Pittsburg
Keller Jordan Oklahoma Wichita
Maple Kendric Oklahoma Wichita
Detmer Kyle Oklahoma Wichita
Beard Boaz Iowa State Wichita

Notice the 4 from Wichita-tied for 1st with Cleveland, Harrisburg PA and Pittsburg PA. Pretty large company!

Obviously I was bored today.... listed the top 10 for your viewing pleasure. Ya'all must be doing something right up there.

How do you count Goddard as Wichita? Would Lawrence count as Kansas City?? Just curious. 2 Private school wrestlers and 5 public school for those who are counting...

That is just what the NCAA website says. Damn Yankees, they are kind of like those that consider Hays as Western Kansas smile

Just imagine the potential numbers it would have been had Nelson and Caldwell both formerly of OU had wrestled!

Great for Kansas. 3 winning their first matches Andrus, Koehn, and Maple.

We need to do a wichita vs kansas city dual for our high school kids.
