I was wondering if anyone has experience uploading and managing videos on Flo. I have uploaded them fine, but can't figure out how to manage them, can't put them in folders etc. They are just a long list of videos. From what I have read on the Flo FAQ's page it should be possible to organize the videos in some way.

We used Flo at Manhattan. The way you manage the vidoeos is by tagging the video. After tagging videos with the same tag, for instance Newton TOC, this will form a folder that you can click on inside the videos page. I think the tags are on the left hand side. Hope this helps. Re: flo I'm with Mr. Juby- I can't seem to see where to tag the videos. I've entered categories and match info, and speaker info but don't see any place to tag videos and no way to create folders. I contacted flo with their contact form but haven't heard anything back yet.

Do you know did manhattan have a paid account or was it the free account? That is the only thing I could think of.

Thank you. I am very excited to get the season rolling here in Tribune, KS.

Now with Flo...I thought you were just meaning to tag the video into a category. They way I have it set up is just adding the category, and keeping the category name the same whether I categorize them by the wrestler, tournament, etc.. On the left side of the videos page you can see that it creates folders based on what you tag the videos by. For instance the Flatwater Fracas Dual Tournament 2011 is my top folder on the left side after clicking on the videos under the team page because it has the most videos in it because of how many times I entered the category of Flatwater Fracas Dual Tournament.

If I remember right the old version of Flo had you "tag" the video and that it created a folder that way, and now its called category. I emailed Flo also back at the beginning of the season and they said thats just one thing they dropped because you use to be able to add your roster and schedule and just tag the video by using your roster, schedule, etc.. and now you have to make each wrestler, event, etc.. a separate category.

So in conclusion, using the same category name will create a folder with that category inside the videos page.

I heard back from Flo, below is their response.



Basically you have to create a team. Do this underthe TEAMS tab and drop down to manage team. Create the team. Once created, click on the Pencil icon to edit the team (you don't need to change something) and click save at the bottom. That will take you to the new team page. On this page you can upload video and add categories which will allow things to be sorted. If you are like me and uploaded videos under the Manage Video Tab I don't think those videos can be categorized. Not sure if the videos can be migrated over to the team page- my guess is no.

Before they updated you could add videos from your profile to teams. I have not had to do this since the update, but I'm sure there is a way. On the road right now but I'll take a look when i get back to a computer.

Back home and here is what I figured out to upload videos to your team from your own video "bank".

Go to your team and click upload videos.
Then click allow so that the java uploader will bring up the uploader on the webpage.
On the bottom left side of the page you can click choose existing videos. This will take you to your videos that you have uploaded yourself.
Just check all the videos that you want to add to the team.

You will have to go back and categorize the videos after they have been added to the team, but you can atleast upload them from your video "bank" instead of reuploading the videos using Flo's uploader.

You can control the accesses everyone has. When you set up your team & click the edit icon there is a called privacy @ the top. You can select who has access to each part of your team page.
