Many kids who were freshmen,like Tyler, were competing at the Tulsa nationals. Unlike the KSHSAA other states are less strict and allow the freedom to chose whether you want to wrestle or not. I would like to see Kanas USA wrestling use some funds or influence to get some the rules changed by KSHSAA. It is America so you should be able to choose whether you want to wrestle or not.

Not only do they wrestle at the Tulsa Nationals Will, but when we host a tournament in Kansas with a U15 division some come here and wrestle in our tournaments. There were many high school wrestlers in my own son's division but due to the rules here this was our last year at Tulsa Nationals. We are leaving with a bad taste in our mouth the way his last match ended but we are really looking forward next year to some of the high school duals in the area.
