CADET – Freestyle
WEIGHTS = 88, 94, 100, 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 145, 152, 160, 170, 182, 195, 220, 285

HIGH SCHOOL – Greco
WEIGHTS= 94, 100, 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 145, 152, 160, 170, 182, 195, 220, 285

YOUTH (Ages 6+) – Freestyle and Greco
WEIGHTS = Wrestlers will be grouped as close as possible by age and weight

REGISTRATION: PRE REGISTER ONLINE – www.trackwrestling.com
Online registration will close Thursday April 18th at 11pm
Onsite registration is available FRIDAY NIGHT ONLY during weigh ins with an increased fee
There is NO REGISTRATION SATURDAY MORNING
All wrestlers who preregister online will receive a free tournament t-shirt.
Wrestlers can enter as many divisions as they choose as long as they do not exceed
maximum age requirements for that division.



*JR’s may enter the University division, but the signing of an additional waiver will be required

Cost is $25 for one division and $15 per additional division.

WEIGH INS: FRIDAY- 6-8pm & SATURDAY 7-8am (Must be preregistered to weigh in on Saturday)
All Jr/Cadet/High School division wrestlers must make scratch weight
University wrestlers will receive a 2KG allowance

AWARDS: University champion will receive an Under Armour quarter zip pullover, 2nd and 3rd will also receive awards.
JR/Cadet/ High School Greco – Top 3 will receive awards
Youth Division – top 2 in each pool will receive awards

TIMES: 9am: University Freestyle, High School Greco, and Youth Greco
JR/Cadet/ Youth FS will immediately follow after completion of the Greco brackets

SANCTION: All wrestlers will be required to have a 2013 USA Wrestling card. No one will be allowed to weigh in without presenting their current USA Wrestling card.

NOTE: There is no minimum rest time requirement, regardless of the number of brackets you choose to enter.

So this year you have to make a weight instead of madison bracketing?

What happens if we don't make the weight we signed up at? Is there a fee to rebracket?

There is a $10 fee if you don't make it Saturday AM and wish to move up. If You don't Make it Friday and want to move up you can do so with no fee

Mizzou sent me a list of over 25 guys they are sending. The list includes a couple All-Americans, several National qualifiers, other starters and top red shirts.

Just a reminder that online registration closes tomorrow (Thursday)night. You can register at weigh ins on Friday, but there is an increased fee.

Why have kids make weight instead of just grouping. Given this is a traditional prom day for many high school kids I am sure watching weight is what is on their minds. Also, I have talked to some who are waiting to see if they will have someone in their bracket before they sign up...kind of shooting yourself in the foot. Why not just scrap the weights and group like normal.

Due to the large number of wrestlers in this year’s tournament we will be running 1:30 periods for the youth division. There is still a chance we will move the cadets and JR’s to 1:30 periods also but will make that decision prior to the start of wrestling in each style.

ALSO PLEASE NOTE:
- Weigh ins will close promptly at 8am on Saturday. If you have not stepped on the scale by 8am you will not be in a bracket
- This is the first year we have run this event with the University division – If you are only wrestling Freestyle only we will start as soon as the Greco for your division is concluded (High School or Youth) – Unfortunately I do not have a great estimation yet of when that will be. I would assume that it would not start any earlier than 11:30 or 12 – BUT THAT IS A COMPLETE GUESS (might start a little earlier or much later) - WE WILL NOT HOLD THE TOURNAMENT TO START AT A CERTIN TIME. WE WILL START ASAP once Greco finishes.
