Ok...here goes:

106: Ty Nienke, Ellsworth...a good little weight class with several good freshmen. I'll take the junior state-runner up

113: Trey Francka, Chase County...several are picking Goepfert from Marysville. He may be in the finals, but he won't beat Francka

120: Macrae Migchelbrink, Atwood...don't know a lot about Aylor, Bowen or Schaefer but a dominating performance in a tough regional weight is reason enough to pick Migchelbrink

126: Brandon Ball, Hoisington...too bad Ball and Kough meet in the semis. They are head and shoulders above the rest

132: John Risewick, Norton...Risewick probably won't be challenged

138: Brogan Humphrey, Fredonia...no explanation needed

145: Tagen Lambotte, Rossville...I'd love to take Chance Demel in a semifinal upset, but Lambotte makes everyone wrestle his match. Is anyone for seeding the top 4 regional champs?

152: Alex Thibault, Halstead...the top 2 wrestlers most of the year Thibault and Gage Younger will meet in the quarters

160: Calvin Ochs, Hoxie...should, at the very least major every opponent

170: Jared Johnson, Pleasant Ridge...have gone back and forth between Johnson and Wuthnow. Flip a coin, but I'll take the senior

182: Kyler Atwood, Smith Center...focused after a regional semifinal loss. He better be focused. Gavin Grater comes calling in the quarters

195: Brandon Salmans, Hoxie...looked dominate and focused last week. This senior wants to become another Salmans state champ.

220: Ryker Greenbaum, Douglass...weakest weight class at state. Greenbaum took 4th last year, but is on the more challenging side of the bracket

285: Clay Wilcox, Chaparral...it'll be a state championship finale between Wilcox (4th last year) and Brady Chard of Plainville (5th)

Team:

1. Norton...9 qualifiers out of THAT regional?! The Bluejays weren't in the top 10 last year

2. Hoisington...no regional fluke. State runner-up from last year. They have tough kids and nearly every qualifier will score

3. Oberlin...almost inclined to take Hoxie, because the Indians could have 4 finalists. I'll go with the Red Devils to have 1 finalist and score lots of backside points

Others receiving votes: Hoxie, Fredonia, Plainville
