Hey guys...just wanting to get the information out about the 1st Annual Central Missouri Summer Scuffle...The past 5 years I have ran a Dual Tournament which has been a great success but I had many coaches and wrestlers that were unable to attend because they couldn't fill a dual roster or they didn't have a team to wrestle with...well I am going to change it up this year and run an individual tournament to try and fit the needs of more people.
I have added 2 weight classes and moved the date up to June 25th. We will have two pools Gold & Silver...obviously trying to split up by skill level and get everybody good competition. When you or your athletes register, make sure you choose which pool you would like to be in.
We will be returning to last years venue...which I received nothing but compliments on. Registration is all online through trackwrestling...pretty easy to register if you follow the instructions on the tournament flyer...if you have problems don't hesitate to contact me.

Folkstyle Wrestling Tournament
Where: Central Methodist University, Fayette, MO
When: Saturday, June 25th
Eligibility /Division - High School 9th - 12th Grade, Incoming Freshman & Outgoing Seniors are eligible.​
Weights- 100, 115, 125, 133, 141, 149, 157, 165, 182, 197, 220, 285 (5lb allowance i.e. 133=138)
Registration - $40 Per Entry ( Insurance included ) All registration must be done online through Trackwretling.com. Enter the Tournament name in the “Browse” section and then click on the “ Pre-Register” icon that is located to the right of the screen. When registering be sure to select either Gold or Silver Pool. Contact us with any questions (Insurance will be Provided, although each participant will need to sign a waiver)
Walk-Ins - Will be accepted on Friday afternoon only from 4:00-6:00pm. (Entry will be $60 for Walk-ins)

Weigh-Ins - 7:00 am Saturday or 4:00pm-6:00pm Friday afternoon There will be a 5lb weight allowance (The Weights above + 5 lbs i.e. 100=105) (Satellite Weigh-Ins are Possible)
Location - Central Methodist University (Puckett Field House) 411 Central Methodist Square, Fayette, MO 65248
Date & Time - Saturday June 25th, 8:00am - 6:00pm, or until wrestling is completed. Building will be open at 6:30am
Format - It will be an individual scramble format. There will be a Gold & Silver division. In those 2 divisions there will be a scramble format that will best fit the number of wrestlers in each weight class. Our goal is to get 5-7 matches for each wrestler. We will have 8 Surfaces running, with a bullpen to first available mat. Rest time will be taken into consideration but it will not be the mandatory 45 min HS rest time.
Match Length - 1:30 - 1:30 - 1:30, HS OT rules will apply
Hotel Info - Closest hotels will be in Columbia, MO (Approx. 30 mins) & Boonville, MO (Approx. 20 mins)
We will have a Trainer onsite and there will be concession available throughout the day.
Awards - Individual awards will be given to the Top 3 places in the gold division and the Top 2 places in the silver division. Champions will be determined by trackwrestling criteria.
