The local school district is closing all buildings, and scheduled activities therein canceled, for Saturday in anticipation of the forecasted weather event. Liberal Wrestling Club apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the cancellation.

Cancellation by the school district actually ended up being a bit on the hasty side as the roads stayed clear through Saturday night. Significant ice did accumulate on trees causing a lot of damage (and some areas of electricity loss Sunday night) but the ice issue did not occur until SUNDAY throughout the day. We are exploring the possibility of rescheduling the tournament but dates available for the facility don't appear to be working in our favor.
