Has anyone had the issue of cards not being assigned to a athlete? We ordered our cards on September 1st and received them about a week later but can not sign up for tournaments on track because it says the card is not assigned.
Haven't heard that. I did have some of HS cards showing they were from another state.... but that can be manually corrected.
I would have a parent or two log in to USAWmembership.com, claim their profile and see if it shows valid. If it doesn't then contact Kathy. If it does that would tell me it's a track issue and contact them.
I experienced this issue the other day when signing one our wrestlers up for Preseason Nationals. Kathy provided me with a different number (not the number on the physical copy of the card) and it went through. Not sure what the issue is though.

USA Wrestling is encountering some problems as they roll out the new membership system, but my experience thus far has been that they're working hard to fix them ASAP. The secondary number that anyone can use is their USAW ID number (also referred to as their profile number). Additionally, I believe they've now fixed the problem with the USAW card numbers, and they can now again be used when signing up.
