When was the last time Colby started the season without a ranked wrestler? They’ve been pretty solid for quite awhile. Are they heading for a long season? Down year for the Eagles?

The issue was confusion on whether or not they will be 3A or 4A. Officially, that will not be announced until Regionals are announced by KSHSAA a couple weeks into the season.

As for these rankings, 3A thought they would be in 4A, and 4A thought they would be in 3A. So they were inadvertently left out. This will be corrected and they will be included in next ranking. They definitely have wrestlers worthy of it.

There will be a new set of rankings available for 321A that includes Colby. In all likelihood Colby will probably move up to 4A this season along with Holcomb. Teams likely coming down to 321A from 4A look to be Larned and Russell. We will know for sure when Regional assignments are made. Sorry for the confusion on the rankings.
