On Wichita Northwest High School's Official twitter page, they posted that Head Coach Eric Prichard suddenly passed away yesterday.

Very sad. I was an assistant at NW and for Eric for 6 seasons. I was very saddened to hear of the news yesterday. I will cherish the time he and I had in the room and corner together. My prayers go out to his Wife, and children. Also, to my friends and current assistants at NW Dave Nigg, Ron Russell, and Tevin Kendall. I wish I had more to say, but I just don't have the words right now.

Over the years, Eric and I had many lively discussions about rankings. He always made it a point to seek me out personally at state with kind words. Every season, he brought the most out of his Northwest team, earning the respect of many.

I will miss my friend....

God bless the Prichard's and Wichita Northwest family!
