If there is 2 wrestlers on one side of subs and 8 on the other side. Will they move 6 over to make a full 8 man bracket, or will they only bring 4 over?

I don't know how the other districts do it, but, here in district 1, both of us go over what we have in each sub and try to fill full 8 man brackets for district.

The way it should be done is the 2 from 1 district will seed 1/2 against the 4 from the other district. Through competition the best 4 should still move on.

Being seeded first does not mean you get a bye anymore. After the seeds are placed, the rest are drawn in randomly.

I don't understand the need for drawing the byes if there are no team points being kept. Just give the byes to the higher seeds and move on. In fact, the higher seeds should be rewarded with byes for their accomplishments to date.

The top seeds that have earned their position don't get byes? All of the entries were assigned rankings. The only correct way to finish the brackets would be to place them according to that ranking. Any other way would be considered careless. Eric Johnson

In D2 all wrestlers are seeded and placed on the bracket accordingly.
