I want to just say that I had a blast at the tournament in McPherson. I really did not think that Jess would be able to get to state this year when I saw the bracket. It was loaded with very talented wrestlers. But what impressed me the most was how NICE everyone of the wrestlers (and their parents) were that wrestled in this bracket. Well done! I can't wait to cheer for District 3 at State. Makes me proud to be associated with you.

Yes, Aldon Isenberg and CJ Napier from D1 will be tough to beat.

I didn't wait until after State because this post was about sportsmanship. It was not about who will beat who and who was the toughest. I was impressed with the sportsmanship displayed by the parents and the kids in this bracket. I really don't like to see or hear "this kid" will beat "this kid" or "this district is better than this district" until the whole thing is over. Unless you have wrestled EVERYONE in your bracket at State, you can never tell what will happen at State. That being said, I will be chearing on Lackey, Porter, Miller (and of course Lemon) because I have gotten to know them a little bit better over the weekend and I was impressed with how the great sportsmanship they displayed. Good luck for everyone!
