Aquinas will win it's first 6A state championship barring season ending injuries. They have 7 placers, maybe more. STA is not the best team in the state, just the top of 6A. Who else will challenge?

That is a lot of talk, maybe ur team can back it up but there are alot of teams out there with just as much talent if not more, Manhatten, Emporia, Hutchinson, Goddard, Maize should have a good team too.

Spartan, you read it here first. STA will place seven and win the 6A state title. Goddard is the next best thing. The rest of these usual suspects will be going for third.

Traditionally in 5A and 6A it takes 8 placers to win state. The year Goddard dethroned Ark City, they placed 8. The next year, they placed 7 and took 2nd as AC recaptured the title with 8. If STA wants to win it with seven, the bulk will have to place high. Goddard, Emporia and Manhattan may all be able to place 8. But good luck to STA anyway, it sounds exciting.

Emporia placed 8 last year and got 2nd, manhatten placed 8 and got 1st last year, sorry to tell you this but it will take more than 7 to win. and you could say well we will have at least 2 state champs too but well emporia did last year and still got 2nd. Best of luck on the upcoming season though.

gutwrench I hope you are not on a team, cuz I i was your coach I would be pissed. This is not a prediction forum. Its way to early to be calling state titles. Its one thing to support your team, but its another to be telling everyone else where they will fall. The season is so long

Boach is absolutely right. It is too early to be making predictions.

Manhattan repeat.

Then Manhattan threepeat.

Then the KSHSAA will ban Manhattan from competition, because they will recognize no one can compete with the Hat. The wrestling world will rejoice, and all former Manhattan wrestlers (excluding Jyan Rohnson) will be elected to the Hall of Fame.

Just my $.02.

You guys are right. This forum is no place to be talking smack. Let's be careful and bore the bejesus out of each other.

PS I really enjoyed the Manhattan era.

Sir, I think prant was making a joke out of the idea that this wasn't a "prediction forum" as you suggested. what exactly did you appreciate?

Boach was probably agreeing with my Ultimate Wisdom. Hat Town = world champions for life.

If by "world champions for life" you mean "world-class suckers for life" then I agree too.

I beleive that history has shown over the years that manhattan has been one of the toughest teams in the state for several years now.
