Just wondering--how many schools have their any or all of their wrestling matches broadcast by local radio? The Norton station broadcasts all varsity wrestling tournaments.
there is no doubt that wresting is serious business in Blue jay country!
I know that Goodland broadcasts matches (play by play) and they do a good job. There is several stations that do updates ,but I bet they wish they could do play by play. Some of those bigger stations have to many listeners that want to listen to there regular programs and not wrestling. It is great that Norton fans support there radio station ......I have heard that they have a great sponorship for Bluejay sports on the radio.
I know of four stations in Northwest Kansas that provide wrestling coverage on the radio. KQNK Norton, KFNF Oberlin, KQMA Phillipsburg, and the Goodland station group. I know that KFNF has streamed audio on the net before but i'm not sure if they are doing it this year from 321A state.
