ok not a whole lot of upsets the firt day, but there will be some verry interesting matchups tommorow: Roe vs weatherbee, the winner of that one against Baxter and (probably) johnson vs drennon, sprigg norton against the alton osborne wrestler who beat him last week, (probably) Annon vs Orrozco, and here is the kicker tommorow morning in the semis we will have the Madden vs 'bronco wrestler" and all disputes will be settled when madden puts him to SHAME. what do you guys think about these matches, and WHAT TIME DOES THIS TOURNEY START UP TOMMOROW

I was on the Phillipsburg Regional Wrestling link several times throughout the day yesterday and they had the results posted as fast as I could get updates from friends by phone. They have been awesome as far as updating the site. I would say you're out of shape in more ways than one if you can't find this information. Maybe it's the eyes.

I would like to know how englebert beat Drennan englebert is not as good as Drennan.

gotalovit, eat your words, Engelbert dominated drennon with takedown after takedown and a few backpoints thrown in while most of drennon's points coming on standups. in short engelbert dominated and controlled the match, engelbert made drennon look like a jr-highschooler

I am JV at 171, behind Bo Pfannensteil, who placed 2nd at regionals, higher than you. The challenge matches were usually not close, but not blowouts either. So maybe I'm not as bad as you think.

i dont live in hoxie do i? and at one time being ranked #3 in the state wouldnt exactly be called "taking up roster space" and ever since then i've been winning except for the unfortuante losses at the hoisington team dual tournament. This doesnt even concern you so what difference does it make?

i doubt it he's tougher than you think. I dont think you could handle him on your best day. If they werent close but not blowouts then what would you call them? it seems to me you too are proud of being another JV wrestler in the shadow of a stud varsity wrestler. If you want something bad enough you go for it i guess you dont want it?

It concerns all of us when you are talking smack on anyone and everyone that you please, without pondering the consequences of your rashness. Someday, I have the feeling that you will talk smack on someone who won't put up with it and you will come away from it with a valuable life lesson and several broken limbs. Or do you just talk about people behind the safety of your computer screen.

I would like to say congratulations to Bronco Wrestler. It looks like you had a great tournament. 4-1 with four pins is pretty respectable at regional, obviously you don't suck or you would be setting in the stands at state like the Norton JV team who has been giving you such a hard time. Good luck at state!

I would much rather be who I am than be you. Even if you won state with an undefeated record four times (yeah right) and I lost every single JV match I wrestled. What you confused with jealousy is actually just shock at your trash talking on a day which you lost by 11 to a person you claimed that you could beat.
