why is not mulvane in the top 10 in 4A? they loss to hutch by half a point at rose hill. they won the league tournament. right now, they are given no respect. at eldorado, they will win regionals.

I thought the same thing. I'm not from Mulvane, but was watching the tourny in Rosehill and was very impressed on how they did. I saw the rankings listed and was very suprised they were not ranked when Hutch was. Thats OK, Mulvane will open their eyes when it counts. Good Luck!!!

I agree, Mulvane is good and should be ranked.

I see Mulvane is ranked 6th in 4A. Where are you guys looking? I'd probably put them a little higher than that, but 4A is a tough class. I'll wait until the First of March or after and rank the teams. I think I can get fairly close then.

Mulvane may not get the recognition due to the fact that last year they were 5a, and not many know that they moved down to 4a. They are for real. I am going out on a limb and say they will win the El Dorado regional with Columbus finishing second. If they don't win it, they will at least mix it up a lot.

one list of rankings say that they are, and the other ranking says they aren't. which ranking is the right one? the one with the 2/7/03 or the 2002-2003 Wrestler & Team Ranking? i am just curious.

One thing that happens to Mulvane and it is totally unjust is the collapse they had a few years ago when they came into the state tourney as really the favorite in 4A in a lot of our minds and they had a total dissaster in the first round and lost ten matches in a row. They had tough matchups and it has happened to lots of good teams over the years. Unfortunately people tend to hold that against you later on and develope a wait and see attitude. Rankings matter none at all though when you get to Wichita. I hope they do well there this year. I coached against them that year and they were very very tough it was just one of those crazy things that happen sometimes.
