I live in a house with a bunch of KC guys who all say 456A are the toughest you will ever meet. Can anyone give me some help or points to throw at them why 321 A are the best and toughest. Coach Dreher you certainly can say something.

Yea 456a are the toughest but last year hoxie was the toughest team in the state but one team cant make up for the rest of them.

I would have to say that depending on the year that the toughest division is always changing. But i would also have to say that 4A is the most consistantly tough division, it seems like 4a is never weak and could hang with anyone at anytime.

P.S. this is coming from someone who wrestled in 321A all through high school.

i think that 4a is the most competitive.

4A state is the hardest by far to qualify in, but its state is just as hard as any other. Two day regionals are just ridicious, so many good kids seem to get jipped in those regionals.

321A has more teams which has more wrestlers. which makes for more better wrestler...but 4A probly has the toughest of them all

321A often doesn't have the guys to have great teams as a whole, but some of their wrestlers are really awesome--and I think often don't get as much recognition as some in the bigger schools. Sometimes you just have to look for the little guys

If some of you think guys get jipped in these regionals, Oklahoma only has 2 regionals per class, and then only takes the top 4 from each to have an 8 man bracket at state. They also have a queer rule to me where if you won your regional you can challenge the 4th place guy for his spot, so you wrestle the top guy off the back...btw, only the top 4 place as well.

I wouldn't mind if there was a true 4th where you take the guy who losses in the conso final and take the guy on the opposite conso-semi to challenge for his qualifying spot, unless he's already lost to that person in the tournament. I don't think 1 should challenge down to 4 though.

Which do you think would be hardest having to wrestle 3 matches to get to the finals or 2 matches.

5a is a joke i have seen 6a a little but i was not impressed Manhattan took all 14 my senior year i think they placed like 5th that year
Abilene won state last year with 6 guys.

Ark city is the best thing that couild ever happan to 5a i think they won it like 14 years in a row. I think that if you take those 14 years and put them down into 4a i bet they would not have won but half of those titles.
