Though it isn't going to happen, who do you think would win between these two wrestlers?? Just a thought, that and I wanted to start a massive fight :p :p

Ive seen both Gilliand and Gardner wrestle. I believe that it would be one of those matches that could go either way depending on the day. But if I had to put money on it, I would take Gilliand over gardner in a close decsion.

Wow, Gardner would win. He jsut dosent get scored on. Dont get me wrong Gilland is very good but i dont think he is on the same level as gardner. It woudl be a close match but 99 out of 100 woudl go to Gardner.

Gilliand and Taplin are alot bigger than Gardner Grater, so Gilliand and Taplin would both win!!
A better queastion would be if they were both the same weight who would win?
In that case I would take Gardner and Grater!

I agree with all who think gardner would win. He's too intense and mean for Gilliland.

Gilliand would take it to gardner. I doubt the match would be that close.

I firmly believe that the person who scores the most points by the final whistle, will win the match. Unless there is a pin. Or in the case that the score is tied the match will go into what is called overtime. During this period the first person who gets the takedown will win the match, unless nobody scores. Then, the match goes to double overtime. Here if the person picks bottom he has to get away. If he picks top he has to hold the person from getting away. Whoever does there job will WIN.

Gardner can wrestle. This match would be no contest.

Oh that's, right. We forgot that Gilliland CAN'T wrestle, our bad. Here we've had this huge argument, and only one of the guys is actually able to wrestle. Shucks, don't we feel dumb?
I think Gardner would win if they were the same weight, but Gilliland would win right now.
I also think Gilliland needs to move back to Manhattan.

They are succesful for different reasons. Gardner does a wide variety of wrestling moves and is an explosive wrestler. Gilliland is a tough kid with a good takedown who wrestles tough but does not utilize a lot of moves. In fact he doesn't even use the cradle as well as the rest of the team. He wins more because of his tough competitiveness which certainly is not meant as a put down.

If you think Gardner is overrated, I don't know where you've been the past 2 years.

Hey Bulldog, why do you think Gardner is overrated. I think he has wrestled fairly decent the past couple of years.

I haven't been able to see Gardner wrestle as much as some of you, but the kid is one of the best wrestlers I have ever seen in high school. Maybe I have been under my rock for too long but who are the other guys? Its hard to imagine either beating Gardner, especially since I've never heard of them. Seriously, when was the last time that Gardner was beat?

Do I think Gardner is a great wreslter that will win his second state title, YES!
Do I think Gardner would be able to win a National title at a bigger weight like 130lbs, where there is a lot more competition than 103.5lbs., NO
Is it a lot easier to dominate 119lbs. and under as a senior than a weight like 130lbs. or above, YES
