Baker of Hoxie will hopefully match up with Patton in the finals at state. Patton has state experience but I think Baker could very possibly come away with it.

Wellsville went out in 2001 and then didnt go out last year, but plan to go out to phillipsburg again this year. Two years ago Kyle got third at Phillipsburg and then went on to win state.

I dont think so, I think he got beat by Travis Allen of Paola in league (which in the frontier league is held the week before regional) that year, but I am not sure.

I was impressed with Baxter from Stockton Friday. I was impressed with Baxter two years ago and thought he did not wrestle up to par last year. I saw him wrestle Friday and was very impressed. I thought at the time he just might beat Baker. I didn't get to Beloit Saturday. I see he did beat Baker. I was still a little surprised to see the result even though I thought it could happen.

I saw it, and I talked to Baker about it afterwards. From the stands I could clearly see that half of Bakers back was out of bounds. Therefore he couldn't have got pinned. There was an assitant referee that said he was out, but the head ref went ahead and pinned him. Baker told me that he heard the ref say he was out of bounds so he relaxed and thats when the head ref pinned him. Otherwise I think the match would have went the other way.

i think that baker is better than baxter and he was out of bounds. He was controlling the match until the reversal it was like 6-2, it was also i pretty quick stick called by the ref which wasnt that uncommon last weekend. BAD CALL

Sorry, fellow bkp, but I gotta go with Baker, he was ahead when he got pinned, I think.

I have to go with Baker winning it, he is an oustanding freshman. Also look for Patton, Baxter, and Roe in the top 6.

does anyone know what happened to baxter at the MCL tourney? Allen Smith Center and Roe Norton were in the finals.
