Russell is looking at hosting a tournament in May sometime but would like to know a couple things:

1. Is Hays having one this year? If so when?

2. Would you be willing to attend? We are needing about 150-300 kids is what we'd like, it would be a USA Sanctioned event, so we need to get this started if we want it... If you're club is interested let Tournament Director Wyatt Frohling know (785) 483-5631, if there's enough interest he'll host one if not then no tournament

I think a freestyle/greco event would be good. Just make sure you aren't planning it the same time as the State Freestyle/Greco event.

Yea we had one my sophomore year, but it was about May 13 or so, so i'm thinking the middle to latter part of May would be when it was....but who knows with Frohl

Don't be dumb and plan it on a day when most Seniors in the state graduate. That wouldn't be much fun.

These are a few, but you got the idea. If you guys had one I would drive some kids up there. Maybe you could ask the Edison Lady some questions. I was told she is very smart.

I will relay the message to Coach Frohling. He said if he could get about 175 kids to show up he'd do it no matter what, but I will talk to him and see if he'd reconsider

Pratt should be able to bring a few up, half a dozen or so, I would think.
