Manhatten people please explain your cross country team. Bright Pink and Black uniforms. Come on, maybe your've crossed the line a little bit. I enjoy a good laugh now and then but wow. I would understand if Pink and black were your school colors but Im just really confused.

-Appears Olathe East has been out matched here. THe QTIK (quarest team in kansas) award is crowned in the little town of Manhatten.

Two things:
1)It's ManhattAn, you d to the **banned.** Just spell three little words-Man-Hat-Tan. Bam. Done. You'd think you rich yuppies in Olatha [sic] would hire some teachers in your ultra-futuristic schools to teach you something besides inheriting wealth...

and

2)It's cross country. Nobody gives a crap. The Hat Town cross country team is generally at the bottom of the heap, usually because all the Bad-A athletes are holding it down on the football and wrestling squads. (Plus, I think black and pink might be the JV unis now. I think they got new BLUE and pink uniforms last year.) In Manhappiness, we pay more attention to fall sports such as girls' golf and volleyball, where we are the REIGNING STATE CHAMPS. WOO! (Have fun losing to Olathe North in the playoffs again, by the way...)

Of course this is all in good fun. I have nothing against the Big O-E. I DO have something against the misplaced E in Manhattan.

If their un-important I guess that makes it okay.

oh by the way, I haven't inherited wealth for over a month. Now I'm just waiting for my millionaire relatives to die. It just takes time.

ABartles-our xc uniforms are pink because along time ago when our xc team was good(like in the 70's), the coach was a hippy and thought pink unifoms were cool. the team won state that year. blah blah blah, the school board said somthing about there being some weird tradition in the pink uniforms when in all actuality the funds for new xc uniforms were being used to pay for the football teams meals during away games for the past 30 years, so basically untill last year, the football team was eating our xc uniforms.
