Just wanted to thank all who were concerned after the finals match, and let you know he seems to be doing just fine. His main concern after the match was he wanted to get better quick enough to stand on the medal platform.
Question: How many KSHSAA refs does it take to notice a wrestler is choking to the point of passing out?
Answer: I'm not sure, but I know it is more than two.

Mr. Zahm; Very good to hear that he is doing good. Sorry to see that happen to him. He had a great state tourney though except for that. Congrats to him.

He was put in a head Figure four ... with his head pulled up tight... it was obvious to me watching that as soon as Zahm started kicking wildly that he was choking ... and need out ... they should have stoped it a little sooner... I am happy to hear he is doing good ...the other wrestler didnt mean to hurt him , he was tring to win a match.. you could tell he was very concered about Zahm while the medical staff attened to him... it was just one of those things that happens in wrestling ... Zahm had a great year ... Good luck in he future ...

Happy to hear that Nick is doing OK. And give Mom a pat on the shoulder for me. I saw her completely bugged out in the tunnel, but I was so focused on the situation down on the mat, I forgot to say anything to her.
