Is Mercer wrestling? I'd heard he was injured. If he is wrestling what wieght is he and why isn't he ranked.

I know of a Mercer that's wrestling, but it's not Chet, sorry. THe Mercer I know of is at 119.

I think I saw him listed at 112 earlier in the season, but I haven't heard anything of him in the last couple weeks.

Mercer is wrestling 119 and at the pittsburg dual they didn't have him wrestle against Tyler koehn i wonder is mercer scared.

Chet Mercer is certified at 112#. He took 3rd at the Basehor Linwood - Bobcat Classic. Chet is not scared. You must have been so dizzy from losing against Independence that you missed him taking a forfeit at #112. He is without a doubt one of the top three wrestlers at 4A-112. Columbus wrestlers do not run from anyone. We challenge all takers.

Chet "Slappy" Mercer is a stud and looked great at Basehor. He has not been in the rankings after losing a match earlier in the season, but is definately getting back into form which was evident at Basehor. Most coaches believe he needs to be put back in there. There are a lot of great 112 lbers in SE Kansas who will all be settling the score over the next couple of weeks and the ranking will be updated after the tournaments this weekend.
