Yeah, Emporia didn't have 103, 112, 130, 140, and heavyweight. True Emporia wrestled like a bunch of turds but I'm guessing that won't happen.

The older Heffron (Nick) wrestled 189 last season. The younger one did not compete at league. I think the kid who is their heavyweight this year (Costello?) competed in his place.

I broke my toe at state... but I still got a better medal than Lancerm.

Yes, this is the Heffron that wrestled 215 last year and that is good. Heffron would also like to point out that he did not wrestle at the Topeka High dual buy our JV did pin the Topeka guy in the first period anyway.

It is logical to assume that this may be the last year emporia has a shot at the league title. Things will be quite different next year when several teams from the I-70 join the league. That will be a great tournament.
