Could we see another Wiscombe(SFT) vs Ross Starcher(Tong) match. These guys have wrestled great matches including a 5-2 dec at the Kaw Valley League Tourney. I hope it happens!

I don't know if I would call them great. In the two previous matches Wiscombe pinned Starcher. Good luck to both of them.

Starcher and Wiscombe both have beaten Ryan Sonderegger from SM East though, who is a returning 6A State Champ (and quite possibly will make it a two-timer).

It says great things about 4A 171. It says greater things about Kaw Valley League 171. Too bad DeSoto left for the Frontier League, with Goleman in that mix that possibly could be 3 state placers in the same weightclass from the same league.

I wouldn't count out Boyer on the bottom half of the bracket. He lost to Wiscombe in double overtime at regionals.

That brackett is very tough boyer could make to the finals. I look for a lot of upsets and tough close matches from this bunch of talented wrestlers......dont you just love state time!
