Write back and let me know how many people you can bring just so we will know how to bracket this division. You can get a flyer on the tournament page and just mail it in with your entry fee.

I could bring possibly 5 guys from spring hill. probably 3 in the 18-24yrs, 160-180lbs and one heavyweight. I will even try to convince our head coach and other assistant to come with me. Of course i am sure everyone will back out because they think they are too fat and out of shape. Maybe if you change the break time between periods to 2 minutes, they won't flake out.

The periods are 1-1-1 and alittle rest inbetween if needed. So tell your friends and coachs about the periods and we have alot of fun so don't worry about being out of shape.

Jason, what weight are you going for the Oz Old Timers tourny. It might be fun to come back and wrestle in it but I'm not sure if it will go against my eligability, probably not. But I would be in the same weight as you and we can ask them to go 3-2-2 with riding time, what do you say. Good Luck this weekend and try to make sure that non of the kids count themselves out just because they are not seeded, It's a great time of the year for upsets.

One minute periods...three times in a row...In the same day...are you kidding me? There is no way I can last that long.

Ron, I second the adult beverage break motion made by my colleague and if we're going old school I would also like to bring back riding time or some legal form of stalling. Could we also think about instituting a penalty for any fast, aggressive move made toward an opponent? Also, I would like an allowance on my weight...15 pounds should do. One other suggestion is this Taylor, we faced off what, 15 years ago...let's live through our kids now and either have a tag team concept or just let them expend all the energy, this way we can reduce our total mat time to the 20-25 seconds that I know I'm good for.

Come on Koberlien, I know you still have it. That little boy of yours would love to see dad go out and flex like he does after the match. Most of the guys are fun loving and don't go to humilliate someone. Now on the beer issue. Its at the high school and you guys don't want to see me go to jail now would you. I heard they wrestle alittle different up there, and I think I will have to PASS on that match with BUBBA. But you guys are more than welcome to organize a party after for everyone for old time sake. See you guys down here.

Thank you very much for clearing that up. It could be pretty fun I might try to get a couple of "Young" Spring Hill guys to come and have a good time with all you older guys. Where can we get an entry form?

To dutchman, you can get an entry form off of the tournament section of the web site. Just look on April 12.

Look at the Calendar bullet under Tournaments and scroll to 4/12/03. You should be able to print an entry form.
