Whats the deal with this kid I saw him get beat in a good match at Carl Junction Mo. by Jamie Williams from Seneca. Then he started cursing and throwing a fit even continued it on the awards stand. Does this young man always show so little class or was this out of character for him

I am not sure what you saw but I was right there at the match and I didn't see him throw any kind of fit. If I were Wilderman I would have been upset too, the kid did not move for almost two periods and the refs did nothing!

Well I was there to and admit Williams did nothing the last half of the 3rd period. But Wilderman was never in the match at any point the hole second period he was fighting from being turned and should have had back points against him the last part of the second period. And then to cut Williams who had already taken him down and torked on him for two periods wasnt a smart move and then with about a 45 seconds left Williams obviously went ahead and let him have the take down and just tied him up I think the ref should have called a syallmate earlier and at the end hit Williams with stalling. But at the end of the match he was cusing Willams and at the awards stand Showed very little sportsmanship or class. I compliment Williams for not responding and showing class

I WASN'T THERE, BUT HAVE WATCHED WILDERMAN WRESTLE
FOR MANY YEARS, AND KNOW THAT IT IS VERY
UNCHARACTERISTIC FOR HIM TO ACT IN THE MANNER
THAT YOU SAY HE DID. IT'S A SHAME THAT YOU
ARE JUDGING HIM ON YOUR FIRST IMPRESSION. HE IS
A FINE YOUNG MAN AND A GREAT WRESTLER. I ALSO
HAVE ATTENDED THE CARL JUNCTION TOURNEY FOR A
NUMBER OF YEARS, AND HAVE ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT
STALLING CALLS ARE VERY INCONSISTANT.

Well I was there too and the kid stalled out more than just the third period, he caught Wilderman off gaurd with a takedown on a low shot and did the smart thing by protecting his lead by stalling. To say that Wilderman was not in the match during the second period is not true. He almost escaped or got a reversal several times and in the third period he tilted the kid and got no back points so he cut him, took him down and tried to turn him again. The refs let the kid just hang on to his leg for 30 seconds without a stalling call or at least a stalemate call. I am sure Mike was upset with himself for even being in that positon but did nothing unsportlike at all on the award stand.
(if you like to lose you shouldn't be wrestling)

Huh???? Missouri, stalling, inconsistency????? Surely you jest! For years I have wondered why people go to Missouri matches, to see wrestling or to see referee's who think they are the show and can't wait to find a new reason to call stalling. It's a wonder you don't see more kids go off after that. It is frustrating unless you are used to it and God help you if you have had to get used to it. Simple answer to out of state people who get shafted by those amazing mo refs..... Don't ever go back.

Bigdog that is insane to say that Wilderman was never in the match he lost by one point i hardly think he was never in the match and I doubt any one that saw the match other than you thinks he was out of it. It is even more insane to say Williams let wilderman have 2 with only a 3 point lead and if that was the kansas kid on bottom I think a point would have been awarded and the match would have went into OT. As for the trowing a fit thing you must have saw something I didnt cause I was their in the stands and I think he handeled the loss real well for getting the shaft so bad. I have watched Wilderman wrestle for a long time and he is very good and handeled his loss better than most would in that situation.

WHAT I MEANT, ON THE STALLING THING IS EXACTLY
LIKE YOU SAID. YOU GO TO ONE MISSOURI TOURNAMENT
AND A STALEMATE IS CALLED EVERY FIVE SECONDS, YOU
GO TO THE NEXT AND YOU ARE ALLOWED TO "PROTECT"
A LEAD. I AGREE ABOUT NOT GOING BACK, AND I HOPE
THAT THE SEK TEAMS DO QUIT WRESTLING OVER THERE.
OR PLAYING FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL, ETC THE OFFICIATING SEEMS TO BE VERY BIASED IN ALL SPORTS.
BUT ON THE OTHER HAND, YOU REALLY CAN'T BLAME THE REF FOR LOSING A MATCH.

In missouri the leg riding rules and a couple of others have changed to match up with the rest of the countries. Hopefully it will corect the inconsistancies in their stalling calls. I do enjoy KS refing much more than the MO.

I took a lot of teams over there over the years (I am sorry to say). I don't think what they did had anything to do with the rule book. It had far more to do with the idea that they (the officials) are a part of the show. Don't think for a minute that they don't hold a little extra for Kansas. If you don't believe that just go to the Kansas Missouri match and watch the Mo refs deal us the big one. I have seen it for years and there is no doubt in my mind that they do that. A few years ago the Shawnee Oklahoma coach pulled his kids out and went home from Park Hill and they were killing everyone. He had just seen enough and as he said so well, "we don't need this" and he's never been back. That is the metros loss there.

The match between Williams and Winderman was a good match. However, Winderman was cursing Williams after the match and threatened to punch him in the jaw. Also on the awards stand he was again cursing Williams and elbowed him in the knee as he stood up there.

Did anyone at the match see any of this other than this dumb *** . I was their and saw none of it and you dont elbow someone in the knee come on man. this is almost as bad as you saying Williams let Wilderman have 2 you are INSANE and Wilderman is a much better person and wrestler than you are making him sound like. Sounds more to me like you didnt like the fact that Wilderman gave Williams all he could handle. Both are very good wrestlers and wrestled well. From where I was siting everything that I saw was sportsman like from both wrestlers.
