I got $20 that says it aint so. If I had to bet on the best, I might be inclined to go with Madison.

Ive seen a couple guys wrestle hard against both Payne and Madison. One guy almost beat Madison at state, took him into OT and Madison staled out by clamping onto a leg. He can be beat and if he gets any bigger he needs to worry about making the 275 limit. Payne has proven himself as the best adn remains there until he gets beat.

Madison looked gassed at the end and lost. If you can keep Madison from locking up you can keep the match close for a win. I think Sprigg was better than both however.

i'm goin with madison on this one. payne is awesome, no doubt, but i see more room for improvement with madison. lets remember, he was only a freshman this year. of course hes wrestled a lot but this was his first exposure to kids considerably older then him and placing 2nd in the state as a freshman at heavyweight is extremely impressive. if he works hard in the offseason, lifting, wrestling, conditioning...he'll be to big, to strong, and to quick to be beaten.... by the way i agree with the swayz about sprigg being better then both.

I saw Madison and Sprigg wrestle at the Clay Center tournament. Madison hit a throw and took Sprigg to his back...Sprigg then scored like 12 unanswered points to major Madison.

Madison has to earn a few more state medals to be considered better than Payne. After all, Prant has none and I have two, so obviously Prant is a little fairy. He is a little fairy who lost three times in a row to a chubby sophomore with no varsity experience.
