As you look to peak for season ending tournaments, here is an article of interest. http://www.kenchertow.com/training_tips/article_mindset.html As soon as the season ends it is time to start thinking about summer camp training. I spent my summers away at camps throughout my teenage years. Growing up in West Virginia, I had to leave the state to seek the best coaching and competition. If you are serious about excelling, I encourage you to look into attending my Gold or Super Gold Medal Training Camp. On-line brochure is here. http://www.kenchertow.com/camps/summer/kc_sum2004_lr.pdf Kids travel from across the nation to attend my camps and many Kansas Wrestlers have attended regularly. One of my favorites is Tanner Gardner. Tanner traveled to my camps MANY TIMES and it was neat to see this skinny, hard-working boy develop into an All-American and scholar and earn a scholarship to Stanford. Our camp system is the best in the nation. We have camps in Colorado, Iowa, and many other Midwest locations, as well as in WV and PA. It is well worth the trip from KS. To learn more about our camps visit http://www.kenchertow.com, e-mail ken@kenchertow.com, or call 814-466-7790.

No that was me under Currie's name, I don't have a problem with him, it is joke on the national forum that he advertises his camps on them. From what I hear, they are good camps.

On-line brochure is here. http://www.kenchertow.com/camps/summer/kc_sum2004_lr.pdf I see that Tanner Gardner who I mentioned above made a post about my camps in the kids section. We were in touch recently about summer camp work, and I asked him to share his thoughts with you. It was great to read how positively Tanner felt about his many summers of learning and training at my camps. Tanner's post is pasted below... TanMan Member # 2961 posted January 28, 2004 This is Tanner Gardner. I'm just writing to give my 2-cents on Ken's wrestling camps. I can truly say they have been great for me. I started attending the summer after my eight grade year. I continued attending up until my senior year of high school. The camps provide a great oppurtunity for wrestlers to improve. I know personally when i started going there i wasn't too good, but after my four years there, i had vastly improved. I attended the summer Super Gold camps, and also the Fall weekend camp of champs. Both were very beneficial. Ken brings in some of the best wrestlers in the nation to help train the campers. The facilities are also very nice, as you stay in a hotel. I would reccomend this camp to wrestlers of all abilities: State Champ, State Qualifier, Non-State Qualifier, and Begining wrestlers. Any questions about it drop me a quick note and i'd be glad to give any advice. Tanner Gardner Stanford Wrestling

Ken,
That's ok about the being much better on the mats than on a computer...I'm the opposite 3-21 college career for D2 UCO, you'd think the UCO would stand for U Can't Opperate! I think I'll stick to the jouralism/coaching aspects of the sport.
