As a former Kansas wrestler I know what this time of the year means to a lot of people, it is an opportunity for a lot of great wrestlers to show a few out of state college scouts what it takes to step up and win some tough matches. But it is more that, I urge all of those who are participating in this current season to make sure that your work ethic doesn't falter and to avoid making excusses about getting burnt out at the end of the year because with a proper mind set and the conditioning that you have built all year you are capable of making your League, Regional, and State tounaments very exciting. With that said and the current issue of Title IX, maybe you can spark some of the D-I schools to pick up wrestling programs and allow a lot great Kansas wrestlers to show what they got at the next level, while staying moderatly close to home. Keep working hard and don't forget to make sure that the mental toughness is there to go along with the physical toughness you all undoubtably have.
God Bless
