There's been a lot of trash talking lately on Abilene's wrestling team and their ranking. It's that time of year when emotions are high and everyone wants to be ranked. I don't understand how the rankings are figured, but I know that 4A, NCKL included, has lots of competition and excellent wrestlers on all their teams. This might be a good time of year for everyone to just say "good luck this weekend and hope to see you at state" instead of trying to decide now who is better than who.

I agree with wrestlersmom. Abilene has a young team who has shown alot of heart this year. One thing that I have learned is that it does not matter what accomplishments you have during the season, but what you do at the big dance. Have been undefeated and gotten beat at state, lost at regionals and won at state. So, who really knows until it is all said and done. Good luck to the coaches and wrestlers.

One thing I have learned is that rankings don't mean anything. It's all about what happens at the end of the year.
