Did Gatlin from AC not place at 140 @ Ottawa??? He only lost one match and that was to Miller from Manhattan in overtime. If he didn't place than that is ffffed up.

Was he that one guy who grunted a lot?
So this kid is putting on his shoes right, and his mom says, honey you're putting your shoes on the wrong feet, and the little kid says, no mom these are my feet

It’s called time management. Explain to me your definition of stalling? If someone is working off the side when on top that’s legal, if they are trying to escape off the bottom that’s legal, if you’re circling on your feet to the center of the mat and not blocking out that’s legal and most of all you need to understand do not put yourself in a position to make a mistake that could cost you a match… that's smart wrestling. Smart wrestling will win the close one's. Wrestling crazy will kill you every time.

I've seen plenty of matches where the guy was up one and was just circling and ended up getting pinned with like ten seconds left by the "crazy" guy who took a chance and won the match. If thats what your talking about being crazy wrestling. There's many great crazy wrestlers out there.

Gatlin, thanks for pointing out that Manhattanites (especially Mike) stall. It's nice to finally be noticed for something.
*Editor's note* I may be guilty for Mikey's habit for stalling. He may have picked up that technique in an effort to get me to return the same man-crush feelings. Immitation is the sincerest form of man-crush, after all.

Your point is well taken, but who was down by one “the crazy guy” when your losing you have to go for broke. And Prant can’t take credit for teaching Mike this technique… he came by it naturally ask his Mom.

i would call stalling holding on for dear life when on top. when on bottom---- only moving at the blow of the whistle...then sitting there. never trying to get up after that. when neutral----never shooting, only blocking and waiting for someone to SCREW up. you should be the aggresser, attack the other person.you dont sit ther and block.

As I recall when on bottom he was driven out of bounds numerous times on a standup, could be considered stalling for not keeping your opponent on the mat. When on top he worked an arm lever for a pinning combination a couple of times, tried to chick to a figure four. And last but not least who got the takedown in OT? The guy that didn’t make a mistake for the win. I would say that the two of you where by far the best wrestlers that day... just different styles. That’s when you have to adjust to your opponent’s weaknesses. It’s a shame that the two of you won’t pair up again. Also NOT TO BAD is not Mike.

yeah i did drive him out of bounds a couple of times, but i honestly did not do that because i couldnt hold him down, it just happened that way. i kept changing up my first move on the top, i think that helped me keep him down. i also do belive that he drove me out of bounds when he was on top.

Who won the match? You did not and Mike did. Therefore he is the better wrestler. Don't talk trash on us becuase we DID totally DOMINATE the entire tournament. You can't really say that we all stall either because most of the people on the team won by pins. I'm sorry buddy but pinning someone isn't stalling.
P.S. You grunted too much for being as bad as you are. If you are good it's alright to grunt, like Boach Clack, but you my friend are not good.

Oz I could not agree more with you on the fact they are both good wrestlers! And the match could of gone either way. Without close matches the sport is rather boring, when someone dominates their opponent it gives a false sense of superiority. Thumbs up to Gatlin for pushing him in the match.

Ozwrestler, you're not good either. So please keep your comments down. Mike is good, he just wrestles fat, which is boring, he is way better than the grunter, because he is a fake grunter. He isn't good enough to grunt therefore that takes away all credibility.
