What about them Bulldogs,

What about them... i still don't think too much of them. What the heck happened to Bishop Carrol? Did they have their whole team and just not preform, or are they missing some guys? It doesn't really look from the results that they are. Also, is Ark City really that good or did they just have a great weekend? And where is Gonzales from Shawnee Heights I see he didn't wrestle? What the heck went down at Derby this weekend!

Bishop Carroll was down one wrestler to begin with (Hvy) and then the 112 Keller (5th seed) went down with an injury. More importantly we lost 5 matches either in overtime or by less than two points all to either place or move up a place. You can not be a top notch team and lose all the close matches. But it gives us something to work on. We will also have Kastor back at 125 for Newton. So we will see if we can defend our Newton title this weekend.

Ark City is for real. Placing 11 at Derby is saying alot. We knew they were tough after Perry and the rest of the State will see how good they are after Newton. I never count a Ark City out.

Gonzales from Shawnee Hts was injured. May or my not be back next weekend.

I will second that Ark City is for real so you should start thinking about them. Bishop Carroll is also tough, but so is Omaha-Burke and Goddard. Shawnee Heights placed 8 guys all in the top four and could only manage 5th place. That's how good those top 4 teams are.
