campus has been getting talked about so much and they only have three good guys, they didn't dominate at bishop carrol and the got smoked at the duel against Ark city.

I don't know if it is so much hype as it is expectations for Campus was so high after such a great year last year, also Ark City dominated for quite a few years and didnt do as well the last couple of years. Well things change (COACHES FOR INSTANCE) Ark City is doing well again. Yes Campus has a couple of good wrestlers and those wrestlers will produce but in duels it doesn't look good this year for Campus.

Okay just so you're happy, Ark City is the best, okay now back to reality, everyone is giving them the hype because they will be one to watch at state this year, the real teams are tournaments teams anymore, since there is a lack of a dual state tournament, no one really cares about duals and focuses more on tournament teams so those teams that show great tournament results usually get hyped pretty high, Bishop Carrol for example is hyped after winning a tournament, no one really gets excited for duals, except large dual tournaments ie. Colby and Goodland, but other than that tournament teams get the respect, not duals since 1. there is no dual state 2. it's hard to find teams that fill all 14 classes consistently, just the truth, take it for what it's worth

The nice thing about being a tournament team as opposed to a dual team is you can do fairly well with a small bunch of guys in a tournament where as you will get "smoked" in a dual if you don't have the numbers. Chapman a few years ago took 4 guys to state and put 3 in the semis. We might not be a powerhouse when it comes to duals or tournaments, but I'd give us better shots at the tournament success then duals.
