The oddest thing i've ever seen was a summersalt (selly) into the referee, and he then got kicked in the face.

Fo hizzle bizzle.

I've see a girl wrestler kick over out of a bridge and pin a guy, it was great.

Sorry in advance for this Fanatic...

Many years ago in the State finals in Iowa, after a wild, controversal match, the mother of losing wrestler managed to get out on the mat and was restrained just inches from having her heavy purse connect with the head of the official — who hadn't seen her coming.

Seeing Nick Figge's arm bent the way it's not supposed to bend- right next to my face. It was very strange/freaky/gross.

Oh snap.

Three years in a row I saw a one-legged man win an *** -kicking contest. I'm still amazed at how well Earl Jones did despite his injury.

In the days when full length tights were required, I had a teammate who had an artifical leg below the knee. In the course of the match, the heel strap of the tights broke, my teammate's opponent shot in on a heel pick and when he picked up the heel, the whole artificial leg came with it, right out of the tights. The look of horror on the opponent's face was priceless!

The strangest thing ive ever seen in a match also involves the strangest person i have ever met. It was at a jv tournament 3 years ago right after christmas break. Over the break he had developed an obsession for yams, so during the whole match all he did was yell ohh yams, i am the great yamboni. After he pinned the kid he did a back flip, which the other guys coach judged as about 5.5. The ref gave a pointless penalty point to the other kid which meant nothing since he was pinned.

My strange thing that happened was actually during a wiegh in about eight years ago. The team was wieghing in and I had the 152lber step on the scale and he was 12lbs over. I asked him what he had to eat the night before and he said "nothing". He was at scratch when he left practice the night before. He must have had "heavy" air at his house the night before. It is funny now but it was not funny then. Another thing that happened about the same time was my 119lber came back from christmas break 26lbs over. So I asked him what he ate and he told the truth......includeing 2 bags of Double Stuffed Oreos. He looked like a chipmunk. Needless to say he did not go back down to 119 again. I did not let him. He was messing with his health. Lesson learned.
