What happened to Spare the HWT from Hiawatha? Saw that he was suppose to be at state by never saw him. Did I sleep through his matches or what?

I would like know to what happened to Matt Banta from Ark City? Did he get beat out at regionals?

Banta did get beat out at regionals

Banta's a tough wrestler. I guess those weak 5A regionals are tougher than some 4A guys think. He got 3rd in state in 2002.

that doesnt make the regional tough maybe he just had a bad day or a weak bracket at state last year not saying he did just some thoughts

You can't really base your evidence on the 112 lb. weight class as to whether or not the Valley Center regional was the toughest regional. I agree that the Valley Center regional was very tough, but lets look at the 112 state placers again.

By the way, the fourth place finisher at the Hays regional beat the first place finisher at the Valley Center regional in the first round. I am not saying that the Hays regional was tougher, I am just trying to prove a point that it varied from weight to weight and regional to regional.
