I understand that the defending champ went down the day before the tourney, and that sucks! But Matt Mock from Wichita South High School just completed a 40-1 season and won the class 6A championship. I know he is not much to look at in body and shape, but he got it done. I am very proud of you and congratulations.
Congrats to Coach Nigg also for dealing with him for 4 years!

Congrats Mock on your championship. and good luck wrestling in college.

I have wrestled with more fat guys than I can count, and I love to watch Mock wrestle. He does what most other fatties can't. Mock will push and push on a guy, doing the fat man's polka for a whole period. But instead of just pushing to get a stalling call, Mock pummels and pushes until he gets just a small opening. Unlike most other heavyweights, he is able to capitalize. The heavyweight class is always a chess match, but Mock is one of the few that tries to win a match before over time. And for that, I applaud him.

As far as his body type goes, looks can be decieving. He looks almost identical to the 2 time finalist and former 6A 275 champ Polansky, if any of you remember him.
